STARTING THE MOVEMENT MOVEMENT
Strava's members embody both action and activism. These individuals blend fitness with a commitment to positive change, in their everyday life.
Their passion for movement serves as a powerful tool for social and environmental progress. As both athletes and activists, they inspire others to join in making a difference. Together we can make a move to improve our parks.

PART ONE
Temporary and non-invasive signage will be placed on and around routes to promote downloading Strava and encourage people to start logging their activity. The ads will inform these activists that when they use their route, their local Parks & Rec will be notified of how many people frequent them to prioritize renovating the space.
PART TWO - RENOVATION OF PARKS
Once these activists have met their movement goals local Parks & Rec and Strava will renovate the most popular routes and sites as “voted” on by Strava users. In these areas, we will make new and improved mile makers, trail maps, water stations, trash cans/recycling, and public art.
